Val Venosta

The Vinschgau is a valley of fascinating differences: green meadows, alpine pastures and glaciers may be found here as well as large orchards and steep vineyards.

Therefore the Vinschgau is a paradise for nature lovers and such who like winter sports. Impressive giant glaciers and enchanting valleys invite you to relax and to be astonished.

The Ortler group, with the highest mountain in South Tyrol (3905 m) in the south and the Ötztaleralpen in the north, offers hiking and climbing opportunities. Many Waalwege (ways along the water channels in the midst of the vineyards) for relaxing walks can be found in the midlands.
